What if I

wasn't afraid.
trusted completely
wasn't always worried about money
loved first
stopped comparing
didn't have a headache
gave up procrastinating
got the task done
found no flaws
said I love you
smiled and made eye contact
listened first
ended assuming
gave second chances
took more pictures
quit giving excuses
found the positive
said thank you
let fears go
discovered freedom
was just myself
held on
breathed deep
kept my promises

...and not only changed my day
but me
and the world around me.

"Don’t become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants—what is good, pleasing, and perfect."  Rom 12:2

and no writing.  But some great moments lived.  Now I am trying to figure out a schedule.  With everyone home, my alone time as been cannibalized.  And I was just getting started!

So 20 minutes.  I am putting a limit.  I am getting it down.

Can't get rid of this song, since going to the United Concert (which was an anniversary gift from my awesome husband), Oceans.  And not that I want to.  The words-

You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep - My faith will stand

And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand-Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now

So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior                         written by Matt Crocker, Joel Houston &  Salomon Lighthelm

Soul refreshing for me and truly my hearts cry.  As terrifying as this life can be when we are stepping out into the unknown, there is no place I would rather be than trusting completely in my God, my Savior.

Reminds me of a story in Matthew 14:22-33(MSG)

22-23 As soon as the meal was finished, he insisted that the disciples get in the boat and go on ahead to the other side while he dismissed the people. With the crowd dispersed, he climbed the mountain so he could be by himself and pray. He stayed there alone, late into the night.
24-26 Meanwhile, the boat was far out to sea when the wind came up against them and they were battered by the waves. At about four o’clock in the morning, Jesus came toward them walking on the water. They were scared out of their wits. “A ghost!” they said, crying out in terror.
27 But Jesus was quick to comfort them. “Courage, it’s me. Don’t be afraid.”
28 Peter, suddenly bold, said, “Master, if it’s really you, call me to come to you on the water.”
29-30 He said, “Come ahead.”
Jumping out of the boat, Peter walked on the water to Jesus. But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, “Master, save me!”
31 Jesus didn’t hesitate. He reached down and grabbed his hand. Then he said, “Faint-heart, what got into you?”
32-33 The two of them climbed into the boat, and the wind died down. The disciples in the boat, having watched the whole thing, worshiped Jesus, saying, “This is it! You are God’s Son for sure!”

No place I would rather be.   God, Give me courage to let go and walk on the waters with You........
